Snoop Dogg`s success struggle
Snoop Dogg thinks he has the hardest job in the world. The `Drop It Like It`s Hot` hitmaker - whose real name is Cordazar Calvin Broadus - insists that juggling fame with leading a regular life is not as easy as it looks and he wants his fans to realise how "difficult" it is to be him. He said: "I wanted to tell how difficult it really is, the whole business. We make it look easy, but in fact it`s the hardest job in the world. And it`s not just about the pimp, it`s about the whole job. When you`re a cool player, then you just do your work, however hard it is, and you make it seem easy and relaxed." Despite his gripes, Snoop - who has three children with wife Shante - insists he has mastered multi-tasking and is capable of doing several things at once.
He added: "I`ve always been good at multi-tasking. I`ve always been doing more than other people, even in the past. No matter if it was mowing the lawn, singing in the choir or selling drugs. I`ve always been able to do four or five things at a time." While he also runs a children`s football team and his own record label, Snoop says he has tried to cut back his interests in order to not "overwhelm" his fans. He added to Stern.de: "I got the impression that I was overwhelming the people with all my different projects. Acting, the business with the label, football.
"I wanted to go back to my roots as a rapper and present myself the way people have known me for the longest. I wanted to show that even after all this time I`m still relevant and have what it takes. That`s my legacy. One and a half decades, ten top-notch records. Still top of the game. Other rappers disappear after one or two successful albums. That never happened to me. I just wanted to prove that again."
